Raymond Gubbay
Raymond Gubbay is the UK’s leading promoter of mainstream classical music, ballet and opera events.  With over 500 shows a year taking place around the UK there is always plenty to choose from. 2010 will be another busy year for Raymond Gubbay Limited. The year began with a sold-out performance by Anna Netrebko and Dimitri Hvorostovsky at the Royal Festival Hall, alongside extended UK tours of Anton and Erin’s Steppin’ Out and the ever-popular Johann Strauss Gala, now in it’s 35th year. Spring sees the company working with famous artists such as Maria Friedman in The Magical World of Rogers & Hammerstein, Alastair McGowan in Mikado at the Royal Festival Hall, and June Whitfield presenting the nostalgic We’ll Meet Again. In May, the company is delighted to be co-promoting Carmen, the first fully staged opera to be presented at The O2 Arena in London, as well as co-promoting Julie Andrews in her welcome return to the London stage.

At the Royal Albert Hall, 2010 sees the company promoting over fifty concerts including the 21st anniversary year of Classical Spectacular which continues to play to record audiences and has now been seen by over 3 million people worldwide, enjoying successful tours across Britain, Europe and Australia. The acclaimed in-the-round production of Derek Deane’s Swan Lake with English National Ballet will also return to the Royal Albert Hall this summer.

Now in its 44th year, the company presents a wide range of concerts, opera and ballet at major venues in London, around the UK and abroad and currently presents over 500 performances a year. The annual Christmas Festival, with concerts in London and the regions, involves over 150 performances
