Set within 150 acres of wooded parkland, the National Memorial Arboretum is devoted to Remembrance. Supported by the Royal British Legion, the site is a unique haven of peace, contemplation and hope, where visitors can reflect upon the memorials and enjoy the beautiful landscape.
Home of the Armed Forces Memorial, it acknowledges the enduring sacrifice of those who mourn the loss of the men and women who have died, either on duty or as a result of terrorism, since the Second World War. Two large, bronze sculptures form the centrepiece of the memorial and stand as a representation of loss and sacrifice; the silent witness to the cost of armed conflict.
